Conte di Campiano Wines - Apulia, Italy

Apulia produces more wine than any other Italian region usually making around 17%

of the national total. It also competes with Sicily for first place as grape producer. More than

any other region, Apulia has seen a shift away from producing a great volume

of inexpensive wine, towards smaller quantities of concentrated wines of great character.

The main red grape varieties of the region are Primitivo and Negroamaro, especially in the

southern part of the peninsula.
